About Jo

Pain is exhausting. My search for a solution to pain and an alternative to steroid spinal injections and daily painkillers led me to explore the potential of Nutritional Therapy.

During 3 years of studying I realised just how much of an impact nutrition can have on our overall health, how we age and how we live. Food is far more than just calories. It’s so important for us to consider the quality of the food we eat, as this food is information for our bodies. If we want optimal health and vitality then we need to feed our bodies with the best information we can.

“To empower clients to enjoy food that is enjoyable and nutritious”

As a teenager, I famously served my dad tinned beans and sausages that I had failed to even warm through properly. Somehow though I must have absorbed some of the cooking techniques I had seen at home and the kitchen is now definitely my happy place.

Even if you don’t enjoy cooking, you can still support your health with nutritional therapy. While the demands of modern life can make healthful eating seem out of reach or too complicated, it does not have to feel like that.

My aim is to support you to develop life-long habits rather than adopt short-term unsustainable plans and to avoid punishing diets that unnecessarily eliminate so many foods.

Nutritional therapy is so powerful and, together with cutting edge laboratory testing, helps you understand the root cause of your symptoms. Having this knowledge gives you the power and ability to optimise your health and vitality. Health is so much more than just the absence of disease.

I am a member of The British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT) and The Association of Naturopathic Practitioners (ANP). I am registered with The Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council.

Additionally I am Dnalife ® certified (able to provide genetic testing profiles), First Aid Certified (St. John’s Ambulance) and I am a certified Heart Math Coach.

My clinic is based in a quiet location on the outskirts of Walberton, West Sussex. There is plenty of off street parking. It is a short taxi ride from either Arundel or Barnham mainline train stations.

I can also offer Zoom and telephone consultations if you are not able to attend my clinic in person.
